It takes all kinds...

Comidas for this round of posts range from snacks in the market to bus stop trash and fancy restaurant platos. All in all, some tasty eats.

Doesn't look so delicious? I know. But it was a cookie that looked like a carrot (plus some sugary juice). I couldn't resist!
Whole, fried fish over plantains. Fancy food from dinner on the first night with Pete. So salty and crispy. Yum!
Baked chicken, plantains, empanadas and a half-eaten chorizo at a rest stop en route to Santa Catalina. Pete drinks the Coca Cola light, to maintain his girlish figure.
Fish filet on the beach. All the food was home-made at the hotel restaurant...too tasty to resist. Thanks, Germans who owned the place.
Octopus salad. More fancy stuff. Yum.
Super cheap mixed seafood ceviche from the fish market. Scrumptious!
My last meal in Panama. $3.50! Super yummy (especially that crispy chicken skin). And yes, that beer is called Soberana.
