I got into the habit of taking a bunch of pictures of all these different political posters all over Peru. I'm not sure who got elected and who didn't, but there was something sort of sad and loaded about them. Smiling faces, all sun-bleached and ripped up. I liked them.
I also remembered, towards the end of my trip, that I had brought three prints of my own face for collaging over (an ongoing self portrait project I'm working on) so I whipped up a couple of those up.
